The Spiritual Voices are from Dahlonega, Georgia and have been singing traditional southern gospel music for over 40 years. June and Brenda began singing in their home church at an early age, and Brenda sang at her first funeral at the age of 5. Their parents were devoted supporters of their music ministry, providing transportation for the girls to go out to sing. As young teens, they sang in The Mill Creek Quartet, and later sang as a duet until Brenda’s husband, James, joined the group when they got married in 1980. At that time, they became known as The Spiritual Voices, and began to sing in neighboring states. Their singing was abruptly halted in March of 2004, when James suffered a life threatening brain hemorrhage. After a 40 day hospital stay, he spent the rest of the year in therapy and recuperation. The Lord changed his personality and it has been so amazing to see the Lord’s work. In 2005, they returned to sing at a limited number of engagements and were blessed with a powerful anointing of The Holy Spirit. Many say the group name correctly describes their ministry and sincerity for sharing God’s message through the songs they sing and the testimonies they share. The Lord has opened many doors for them to sing in churches, concerts, and venues all over the eastern United States.
The Spiritual Voices share the great gospel message of Jesus Christ, The risen living Savior, while providing encouragement to fellow Believers. Their singing ministry is supported and blessed entirely through gifts and love offerings. The Lord has proven that He can and will supply their needs according to His riches in Glory, and that man should not limit what GOD can do! The Spiritual Voices would be honored to share their music with your church or venue.
