Sunday Drive
With a deep Southern Gospel heritage and love for music, Sunday Drive continues to spread joy as they journey across the U.S.A. This family group from Knoxville, TN consists of husband and wife - Jeff and Misty Treece - and Dusty Treece, Jeff's younger brother.
Jeff and Dusty are no strangers to the Gospel music industry, having traveled with their family group, Cedar Ridge, in the 80s and 90s then forming the Jeff Treece Band in 1999. Jeff also played piano for The McKamey's from 1994 - 1996.
Misty's passion for music started as a child going to concerts with her parents, singing at church, school, solo dates and then going on to travel part time with regional artists. Her heart's desire and calling was to be in full time music ministry. The Lord fulfilled that desire in 2009 when she married Jeff. She began traveling and singing with them immediately and that was the beginning of Sunday Drive. Jeff plays keyboards, sings and writes the majority of Sunday Drive's songs. Dusty plays drums and sings. Misty is the lead vocalist.
Sunday Drive is thankful for much success over the past seven years. They have won over twenty Entertainer and Vocal Group of the Year awards and have had multiple chart topping songs. They have performed at the Grand Ole Opry, churches, theme Parks, riverboats, fairs and festivals, and have shared the stage with such artists as The Oak Ridge Boys, The McKameys, Big Daddy Weave, David Crowder, The Isaacs, Karen Peck & New River and many more. The group says their mission is to strive to positively influence the world through their music: “To be a LIGHT... shine it for the world to see. To show LOVE... share it in all they do. To live the LIFE... as disciples of Christ.”
Sunday Drive added acting to their bio in April of 2016, making an appearance in a faith based movie called “Saving Faith.” Other actors in the movie include comedian Henry Cho, award winning actress Jenn Gotzon, Donny Richmond, Vince Gill and Amy Grant. The movie was released in 2017.
When asking the group about their hobbies and interests, Misty states, “I love spending time with family and friends, going to church, crafting, and of course bargain shopping!” Jeff enjoys fixing up old cars and Dusty loves University of Tennessee athletics.
Sunday Drive travels all across the U.S.A. spreading the joy of Jesus, bringing a ministry of encouragement, hope and love mixed in with a good dose of comedy and laughter.
